Enforcing boundaries within Brown families can often be a challenging and sometimes, futile experience. One of the questions I get asked the most is, “Isn’t there quick tips on how to enforce boundaries with my family?” Although, it is never a 5 step solution, I do have some important points that can be taken into consideration which will help in any situation. I’ve curated these points through working with many families and individuals within my therapy practice, along with my own personal lived realities.
